Automatic driving lessons across East DevonDrive safer. Drive confidently.

Safeguarding

Your safety comes first.

I want every learner to feel safe, respected and able to speak up. I take concerns seriously and will act to protect a learner’s wellbeing.

A professional, respectful environment

Driving lessons should feel safe and supportive.

TrueLane is led by Rob Stone. I will treat learners fairly, respect their dignity and keep professional boundaries. Discrimination, harassment, inappropriate language and unnecessary physical contact have no place in lessons.

Lesson messages will stay focused on tuition and practical arrangements. For learners under 18, I will agree suitable collection and drop-off arrangements and involve a parent or guardian in practical matters where appropriate, while respecting the learner’s privacy and safety.

If you need an adjustment or extra support, you can tell me what would help. You do not need to share a diagnosis.

Raising a concern

Please speak up.

Contact Rob if something during tuition makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Raising a concern will not affect your lessons.

IMMEDIATE DANGER

Call 999

If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services.

CONCERN ABOUT AN ADULT WORKING WITH CHILDREN

Contact Devon’s LADO

If your concern is about an adult’s conduct with a child, you can contact Devon’s Local Authority Designated Officer directly.

If the learner is outside Devon, contact the safeguarding service for their local area. Relevant information may need to be shared with safeguarding services to help protect someone.
