Automatic and smooth
More space to focus on observation, planning and decision-making without managing a clutch or manual gears.

Coming soon to TrueLane
A premium new automatic tuition car is joining TrueLane: the Lexus LBX Takumi Design, finished in striking blue with a contrasting black roof.

The next TrueLane tuition car
I currently teach in a Mercedes A-Class, and lessons will continue in the Mercedes while the new car is being prepared.
Once ready, the Lexus LBX will become the TrueLane tuition car. It combines an easy automatic driving experience with a comfortable driving position, a beautifully finished interior and modern technology designed to make every journey feel clear and controlled.
The change of car will be handled carefully, with time for every learner to become familiar and comfortable.

An uncluttered view of the road and controls that fall naturally to hand.

Why the LBX?
A premium car, but the decision is practical: it needs to be a reassuring place to build skill, judgement and confidence.
More space to focus on observation, planning and decision-making without managing a clutch or manual gears.
A useful size for everyday roads, town driving and manoeuvres while still feeling solid and comfortable.
A clear cockpit, excellent visibility and helpful technology support a calm learning environment.
The Lexus will be properly prepared for professional driving lessons before it welcomes its first TrueLane learner.
For current learners
There is nothing you need to do. Your lessons continue as normal in the Mercedes A-Class for now.
Before changing over, we’ll talk through the differences and take time to get familiar with the Lexus. No rushing, no pressure—just a smooth introduction at your pace.
